Somizi spared no expenses for the funeral of his beloved mother and legendary actress "Mary Twala".

Through the death of Mary Twala who died at the age of 79, the nation witnessed the first ever Louis Vuitton coffin to be brought to South Africa by Somizi for the burial of his mother.

Upon seeing pictures of the coffin, the question on everyone's mind was "where did Somizi get a LV coffin and how much did it cost?"

Unconfirmed reports on twitter state that the coffin costed a whopping R1 million.

But as for where he got it, with the help of a reliable source we can confirm that Somizi bought the coffin from takealot, an online store which sells just about anything you can think of.

This actually explains a lot. For example, how did Somizi manage to order a Louis Vuitton coffin from the states and have it shipped to South Africa in such a short period of time? The answer is "the coffin was not ordered from the states it was ordered from takealot and they are capable of delivering goods ordered on their website within a day or two.
If you didn't know, then it's true. Takealot now sells coffins online. And according to reports, they are actually cheaper than the ones sold by funeral parlours.

We can imagine this is going to negatively affect funeral parlours because before takealot, they were the only ones that provided coffins and they were not cheap at all.

But now takealot offers coffins at a fraction of the price you'd normally pay at a funeral parlour and Somizi took advantage of this initiative by takealot.
